ABRA
Agility, organization and reliable information: these are the pillars of the new tool launched by the Brazilian Animal Recycling Association ( ABRA ), within the scope of the Brazilian Renderers project , a partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency ( ApexBrasil ). The CSI Monitor was officially presented during the ABRA Assembly, held at FENAGRA 2024, and has now gained a new stage with the ABRA on the Web event, which guided associates on how to use the tool in practice.
The virtual meeting took place on May 22, with the presence of more than 60 members. During the meeting, the ABRA team detailed how the platform, available in the Member Area, works and showed how the new digital database can directly support international negotiations for industries in the sector.
Developed by ABRA’s Intelligence team in partnership with Avelã Public Affairs, the dashboard brings together all the International Health Certificates (CSIs) agreed upon for the animal recycling sector. Each CSI is broken down into specific requirements — such as transportation, temperature, packaging, documentation and health requirements —, facilitating consultation and comparison between different markets.
With this tool, members now have quick and structured access to the information needed to identify countries with current CSI, understand the forms of qualification by product and analyze the requirements demanded by each export destination.
The initiative is another step by Brazilian Renderers to strengthen the technical knowledge base of companies and increase the international competitiveness of the sector. And, with the support of the platform, negotiations gain agility, assertiveness and security — decisive advantages in an increasingly demanding market.
In practice, what changes with the CSI Monitor?
The new tool represents a real gain in time and security in international negotiations. Instead of relying on extensive searches, consulting multiple documents or emails with different agencies, members can now access all health information organized in one place, directly in the Member Area.

Brazilian Renderers

Through participation in fairs, workshops and other special commercial promotion activities, the projects value attributes of the animal recycling industry and its products — such as quality, health status and sustainability of production — and promote the international brands of the products, fostering new business for Brazilian exporters. Information on how to participate in the sector projects can be obtained on the website brazilianrenderers.com .
